Jobs range from production operators through to team leaders, supervisors and production supervisors. Operators in pharmaceutical facilities work in highly controlled environments and must adhere to strict safety and quality standards. Processes include milling, granulation, coating, tablet pressing and packaging.
Operator tasks can include interpreting production schedules, preparing for production, calculating calibrations, weighing components, assembling materials and stocking supplies.
Nutraceutical manufacturing covers food or fortified food products that supplement the diet, providing health benefits and/or and assisting in treating or preventing disease.
