Industry Advocacy

We work with our members to identify and respond to current and future skills demands, drivers, challenges and opportunities,

Through its advisory arrangements with the Victorian Skills Authority (VSA), FPSV ensures that primary industry stakeholders have a voice in workforce, training and skills matters.

Typically, we will assist members to develop a skills snapshot through industry surveys, stakeholder meetings, and individual consultation with RTOs, employer and employee associations and enterprises.

Industry advice and feedback can be used to:

  • improve training products, such as qualifications and skill sets
  • alert the Victorian government to workforce and skills issues
  • inform the Victorian Skills Plan, policy and direction
  • make recommendations and pursue solutions
  • improve system responsiveness and stakeholder confidence
