The Victorian racing industry covers the following codes, each governed by a state statutory authority:
Thoroughbred Racing – Racing Victoria
Harness Racing – Harness Racing Victoria
Greyhound Racing – Greyhound Racing Victoria
Jobs range from stablehands and attendants, to riders and drivers, to administrative, training or racing official roles.
