Wool Handler Workshops

During 2012/13, FPSV’s precursor, Primary Skills Victoria, funded by Australian Wool Innovation Ltd., and supported by local industry and training organisations, coordinated a series of wool industry “taster” programs for young people in local areas where skills shortages had been identified.

Local secondary school students were given the opportunity to gain a range of skills and experience in the various occupations available in their local wool industry.

Programs were conducted throughout areas of Southwest and Northern Victoria.
